The vision panels, glazing, and a review of their suitability. The cold smoke seals and intumescent seal. The intumescent seals. The gaps between the leaf and frame the door frame.
Fire Door Inspection
A fire strategy is a complex document specifically tailored to a building to comply with Regulation 38 of the Building Regulations when a building is being modified/extended. the building strategy reviews all aspects of the building’s fire safety features including construction, compartmentation strategy, means of escape and other fire safety features/measures - including management arrangements in place to ensure it is fit for use for the end user of the premises or intended purpose group. BS 9999, or a fire engineered approach in developing a fire strategy for a premises.The following is included in the Fire Strategy; Means of warning, Means of escape Internal fire spread/passive fire protection – External fire spread Access / Facilities Other factors Fire safety management for the building
Fire Strategy
We carry out all Type 1 to Type 4 Fire Risk Assessments for blocks of flats, offices, commercial & industrial premises in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. The Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessment will include; Risk assessment Means of escape Means of giving warning Means of fighting fire We also complete a detailed fire risk appraisal of the external walls FREAW (under PAS 9980) in accordance with the Fire Safety Act 2021, and supports the overall fire risk assessment for a building.
Building Safety Cases
Firesafetychx will complete a Building Safety Case & report innaccordance with the Building Safety Act 2022 to systematically identify for your high rise building (above 7 storeys) how the risk of fire spread and the structural safety of your building to ensure the spread of fire is prevented and consequences minimised. The key purpose of the Safety Case Report is to provided evidence that the Accountable Person(s) have considered the major fire and structural hazards/risks and how the risks are being and will be managed and controlled. The Building Safety Case will include; A Description of the Building Information About Who’ll Live In the Building Relevant to Safety Risks Emergency Plans and Preparedness Procedures An Assessment of the Risks Residents Face Fire Prevention Measures Structural Safety Inspection.
